pastedGraphic.png Osteoben is a proven medical food. Unlike many dietary products that say that the item is not approved by the Food and Drug Administration to treat or prevent any disease, Osteoben can claim to be used for the dietary management of osteoporosis and osteopenia, the two types of reduced bone mass.

Osteoben has significantly increased bone mass in both the hip and the low back, where the bone mass in the control group dropped significantly. It also has shown to reduce hot flashes! However, men and women alike can take this product.

pastedGraphic_1.png TRF-350 is a unique product. TRF stands for tissue regeneration factor. This product alone has been shown to increase bone density. It contains Bone Morphogenic Proteins, which are important growth factors naturally contained in our bones. This ingredient helps encourage normal bone growth and function, and it also supports normal cartilage function for relieving joint pain. Talk about a side effect!
pastedGraphic_2.png Unlike other collagen products, our Whole Body Collagen has a creamy texture and a flavor that blends well with protein smoothies or milks. This product has research guiding its use, including over 16 clinical trials with its ingredients. Collagen is a building block of our body, including the skin (and may prevent or support wrinkles). It is the material that is between the calcium and other hard minerals in the body.
pastedGraphic_3.png Vitamin D is actually not a vitamin, but a bio-active hormone, involved in functions from mood support, muscle pain relief, autoimmune disease regulation, as well as bone maintenance. But Vitamin D needs its accessory vitamin, Vitamin K, to tell it where to go. Vitamin K and Vitamin D should always be dosed together. Vitamin K is found naturally in leafy greens.

This kit will last you or your loved one 30 days assuming you take 2 capsules of vitamin D daily, for a total of 10,000IU/day. Many people only need 5000IU/day, depending on your blood tests. In general, if your blood tests show a vitamin D of 40ng/dl or less, you could benefit from taking 10,000 IU daily for 3 months. If your blood tests show you are in the optimal range of 50-80ng/dl, you can do a maintenance dose of 5000IU/day, or one capsule. You can ask your doctor to check the vitamin D level, or you can request it yourself at directlabs.com.

For ordering purposes, we will assume you are taking 1 capsule daily and will send a Vitamin D Supreme bottle in every other order. Your pricing will be adjusted accordingly.

Due to our exclusive relationship with Designs for Health, you can purchase your kit by phone, email, or text only. We cannot sell directly online but will be happy to help you with a personal touch! Contact Katelyn, our office manager, directly, by clicking the Contact button on your right, or by chatting with us at the bottom of the screen!

  • How do you know if this plan is working? Dr Lachman recommends the NTx test prior to starting the plan and after 6 months! NTx is a urine test that measures the amount of bone that is excreted into the urine. Susan Brown, PhD, has a great instruction sheet on how to take the test. Here is a link to a video on how to take this test. Your health care provider can order it for you if she/he is familiar with it. Or, you can order it yourself from directlabs.com. You can also contact our office and we will send you instructions.
